Delete Your KeepTies Account
You can permanently delete your KeepTies account and all data associated with it at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app (recommended)
- Open KeepTies and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down to the Account section.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
This permanently deletes your sign-in account and all data linked to it: your profile, your unique @handle, all contacts you added, interaction logs, reminders, scheduled messages, birthday cards you have sent, and settings. Nothing is retained.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app or your device, email us and we will delete your account for you:
Send an email to support@keepties.app with the subject "Delete my KeepTies account", sent from the email address your KeepTies account is registered with (so we can verify it is really you).
We process email deletion requests within 7 days and confirm by reply once completed.
Deleting some data without deleting your account
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove data. Inside the app you can delete any interaction log, reminder or scheduled message at any time, and it is removed permanently. Deleting a contact moves it to the Trash (the bin icon on the People screen), where you can restore it or tap Delete forever to remove it permanently. To take down a birthday card you sent, open its menu on the Home screen and tap Remove: the card is deleted at once and its link stops working. You can also email us (address above) to request deletion of specific data.
What is deleted, and what is kept
- Deleted (everything): your account, profile, @handle, contacts (including any in the Trash), interaction logs, reminders, scheduled messages, birthday cards you have sent, preferences, and any AI usage counters. Deletion is permanent.
- Kept: nothing. KeepTies does not retain personal data after account deletion.
- Birthday cards are also deleted automatically 14 days after they are created, even if you keep your account.
Note about subscriptions: deleting your KeepTies account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel subscriptions in the Google Play subscription settings.
